Our Life Train
Where are we choosing to sit on our life train? This metaphor was discussed on a radio talk show by Dr. Donna Dannenfelser, a psychotherapist, which Tosha Silver, wanted to share with us on her weekly forum call. I am absolutely fascinated by the train metaphor that Dr. Donna, introduces and desire to share it here in case it may be new for anyone as it is for me. Also, a fun side note being that my father was a long time railroad man working for the Union Pacific Railro

Discovering the Extraordinary Within the Ordinary
My husband, Richard, sitting on the steps of our daughter's house as he awaits in the next room the arrival of his third grandchild, Eden. An ordinarly moment, a respite, as the extraordinary, a miracle was in progress. This picture always grabs my heart. 💞 As I reflect upon memories I’m always intrigued by the ones which feel timeless, vivid and as if I could step right back into them. After listening to Amanda Doyle, in the podcast, We Can Do Hard Things , discuss this I w
